We have operated a silo facility since 1974. To keep pace with the growing dominance of containers, it was expanded in 1983 and again in 1994. We changed our name to NKG Kala Hamburg, moved to our present location at Hohe-Schaar-Kamp in 2006 and built an entirely new silo facility. The silo is computer controlled and assures the utmost in speed and accuracy, with a total silo capacity of 60 000 tons.

NKG Kala Hamburg rounds out its storage possibilities with a modern warehouse with a capacity of 8 000 square metres. An automatic palletizer and container tipper for unloading provide the finest quality breakbulk handling.
