Exclusion of Liability (Disclaimer)

Liability for Content

In accordance with section 7 para. 1 of the German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz – TMG), we, as the service provider, are responsible under general law for our own contents on this website. Pursuant to Sections 8 through 10 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG), we are not, however, responsible as service providers to monitor transferred or stored information of third parties or to research circumstances that suggest illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general laws shall remain hereby unaffected. Any liability in this respect is, however, incurred only from the moment that knowledge of the specific breach of law is obtained. We will immediately remove such content as soon as we become aware of any legal infringements.

Liability for links

Our website contains links to third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. As a result, we can assume no liability for third-party content. Responsibility for the contents of the linked sites always rests with the respective provider or operator. At the time the link was established the linked sites were checked for possible legal infringements. At the time the sites were linked no evidence of illegal content was found. Without concrete evidence of a legal infringement, permanent monitoring of the content of the linked sites is, however, not reasonable. We will immediately remove such content as soon as we become aware of any legal infringements.

Copyright

The content and works created by the site operators on this website are subject to German copyright law. Duplication, processing, distribution, or any form of commercialization of such material beyond the scope of copyright law shall require the prior written consent of its respective author or creator. Downloads or copies of this website are allowed only for private, non-commercial use. Insofar as the operator does not create the contents displayed on this website, all copyrights from third parties shall be respected. Content provided by third parties shall be identified accordingly. Should you still have reason to believe that a copyright infringement has occurred, the author kindly requests that you inform him/her. As soon as we become aware of a legal infringement, we will remove such content immediately.

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We always treat your personal data in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations. We have appointed a competent and reliable external data protection officer. External data protection is provided by UIMC Dr. Voßbein GmbH & Co KG.

In the following, we would like to inform you about the processing of personal data.

Collection and processing of personal data

You can, in principle, use our online offer without revealing your identity. Should we request personal data on our websites (such as name, address or e-mail address), for example in the context of contact forms or when registering, any such personal data is given entirely voluntarily. We use this information for our own business purposes (such as sending the requested materials / information).”

For questions of any kind, you may contact us using the contact details available on our website. In doing so, personal details may be recorded in order to be able to properly allocate and answer the request. Further information can be provided voluntarily. The data that will allow us to contact you is processed in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sent. 1 lit. a of the GDPR and is based on your voluntarily granted consent.

The personal data collected by us for establishing such contact will be deleted once your request/question has been answered and once the tax and commercial retention requirements have expired.

Once you have given your consent – for example, for us to send you a newsletter or other interesting information concerning our company – you may revoke it at any time without stating reasons with effect for the future. To do this, you can use the above-mentioned contact details or another way mentioned in the newsletter.

This website uses the following types of cookies:

Session cookies. Session cookies are temporary cookies that are created and stored while visiting the website and while the internet browser is open. Session cookies on our website do not contain private information and do not allow you to be identified.

Record-keeping

Each time you access the website, logs are created, processed, and analyzed for statistical purposes, without recording the identity of the individual user:

  • Referrer (page whose link led you to this website)
  • Search terms (using search engines for referrers)
  • The IP address is evaluated to determine the country of origin and the provider
  • Browser, operating system, installed plug-ins and screen resolution
  • Time spent on the page

The aforementioned data is collected based on our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sent. 1 lit. f of the GDPR and is processed by us for the following purposes:

  • Evaluation of system security and stability, as well as
  • for further administrative purposes.

We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of any concrete indications of illegal use. The data will be deleted immediately if it is no longer required, but no later than after six months.

Transfer of data

Your data will in principle not be transferred to third parties, for commercial or non-commercial purposes, without your explicit consent. We pass your personal data on to third parties only if this is permitted and/or required by law [e.g. on the basis of Article 6 of the GDPR]. In some cases, we use service providers for statutory data order processing. The website is hosted and partially maintained by SOLID-T GbR. Full responsibility for the processing of data lies with us. Furthermore, we sometimes use plug-ins from other providers on our website, more details on which can be found below.

Liability for content

Liability for links (content of external providers)

Cross-references (“links”) to content provided by other providers are to be differentiated from our own content. We have no influence on the content of linked sites, the responsibility for which always rests with the respective provider or operator.

Rights of data subjects

We hereby inform you that, in accordance with Article 15 et seq. of the GDPR and under the conditions defined therein, you have the right to information about your personal data, as well as to rectification or deletion or restriction of the processing of your data, and you furthermore have a right to object to the processing and transfer of data. You also have the right, under Article 77 of the GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a data protection regulatory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violated the GDPR. If the processing is based on Article 6 Para. 1 (a) of the GDPR or Article 9 Para. 2 (a) of the GDPR (consent), you also have the right to revoke your consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing that took place up until your consent was revoked.

Right to information, Art. 15 GDPR

Right to complain to the regulatory authorities, Art. 77 GDPR
You have the right to contact the competent regulatory authority of the European Union or the member states at any time for possible violations of data protection regulations.

Google Maps

To make traveling easier, we offer you the use of Google Maps to display maps and receive travel directions. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. These pages will be marked accordingly.

When Google Maps is called up and retrieved, Google sets a cookie to process user preferences and data when viewing the page and associated features on which Google Maps is integrated. This cookie is usually not deleted by closing the browser, but expires after a certain period of time (up to 24 months), unless it has been deleted by you.

If you do not agree with this processing, it is possible to disable “Google Maps” and thus to prevent the transfer of data to Google. Deactivate the JavaScript function in your browser. We would like to point out, however, that in this case you cannot use the map display or you may only be able to use it to a limited extent.

By using this service, you agree to the collection, processing and use by Google of the data collected and the data you have entered. The Google Maps terms of service can be found at http://www.google.com/intl/en_en/help/terms_maps.html [external page].
